garments of Sabio Designs are innovative in style and
construction, creatively forging their own personality.
"Sabio
designs are for the sophisticated fashion forward female
who exudes elegance regardless of whether she is at work
or at play" Explains Sabrina Evans, the creative
mind behind Sabio Designs.
Originating from
Tasmania, Sabrina is largely inspired by the rich colonial
heritage and natural beauty of Australia's Island State which she channels through her designs. Designed and
produced in Tasmania,

Sabrina
creates her garment from natural fibres; silk, chiffon,
cotton silk blends and metallic wools; which compliment
the natural lines of the human form.
"My approach
to design stems from investigation ideas and the evolving
process of how we develop in our continual pursuit of
personal identity. There is no right or wrong attire,
there is only self expression."
Exploring texture,
colour and decoration in textiles in costume design,
Sabrina made the transition to ready-to-wear design when
she took out the Avant Garde Category at Debut for
Melbourne Fashion Expo with her summer09 collection.
